Cecile Bouchet, Belgium

Cecile Bouchet brings more than two decades of leadership to and involvement with Friendship Force.
She was one of the founding members of The Friendship Force of Limburg, started in 1986 in Belgium and eventually served a six-year term as President. Currently, she is vice president. Cecile tells us that the club is a very active and during its 22 year history has hosted people from every continent. She enjoys being personally involved in as many incoming exchanges as possible: hosting, organizing, finding rich cultural experiences for the ambassadors, etc. Cecile has served as ED many exchanges, both incoming and outgoing, and therefore in the process knows how Friendship Force works from the inside out! She has also been privileged to attend many conferences taking part in workshops as a panellist in both International (Sao Paulo and Budapest) and European Conferences. She was also was involved in the organization in her Club festival, celebrating the 2Oth anniversary in 2006.
Cecile has travelled most of the world with Friendship Force and the remaining on private journeys.

She was originally a teacher specialising in guiding children with learning disabilities and psychological problems (remedial educationalist). After various courses at management level Cecile became an educational supervisor during the last 1O years of her career. In this field she covered schools with special education for children with special learning needs, mainly in schools with a concentration of multicultural students.

Cecile is married to Helmut (Stoces), and has two daughters, both married, and 2 grandchildren. She is retired but keeps very busy, and in her spare time, enjoys South American dancing, and communicating with other nationalities as a multi-lingual speaker.
